Your Dog's Day at Doggy Daycare Townsville
Pet Resorts Australia Townsville Doggy Daycare offers a thoughtfully structured day designed to balance play, rest, and personalised care in a relaxed tropical setting. Surrounded by secluded gardens and featuring large grassy play areas and a unique lagoon-style pool, each daycare day supports physical exercise, social confidence, and enrichment. Led by our experienced Pet Nannies, with the option to add Canine Evolution training sessions, dogs enjoy a calm, engaging, and rewarding routine that makes the most of North Queensland’s beautiful climate.
Morning Fun
Morning play begins with excitement as dogs head out into our large grassy play areas, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. With plenty of space to run, chase, and enjoy joyful zoomies, dogs socialise with their daycare friends in a safe, supervised environment. On warm Townsville mornings, playtime may also include a refreshing dip in our lagoon-style pool, adding an extra layer of fun while helping pups stay cool and comfortable.
Individual Attention & Training Options
Throughout the day, every dog receives individual care from our attentive Pet Nannies. From gentle check-ins and reassurance to cuddles and encouragement, our team takes the time to understand each dog’s personality, energy level, and social needs. For families looking to add extra enrichment, Canine Evolution training sessions can be included, giving dogs the opportunity to work on skills, confidence, and manners in a positive, reward-based environment.
Rest & Recharge
After a busy morning, dogs enjoy a well-earned rest period. These quiet breaks are an important part of our Townsville doggy daycare routine, allowing dogs to cool down, recharge, and self-regulate so they remain relaxed and comfortable throughout the day.
Afternoon Explore
Refreshed and ready for more fun, dogs return to the play areas for an afternoon session focused on relaxed socialisation and exploration. With space to move freely at their own pace, this session encourages gentle interaction and confidence building. On warmer afternoons, dogs may enjoy another splash in the lagoon pool, making the most of Townsville’s tropical climate.
Wind-Down
As the day winds down, dogs transition into a slower pace with calm interaction and downtime. After a full day of activity, enrichment, and social play, most pups are relaxed, content, and happily tired.
Home Time
Whether you’re picking your dog up in person or they’re travelling home via our safe and secure Pet Taxi, you’ll be greeted by a calm, settled, and happily tired pup after a rewarding day at Townsville Doggy Daycare. After enjoying tropical play spaces, attentive care, and optional training enrichment, dogs head home relaxed, content, and ready for a peaceful evening.
What Our Customers Say
"The staff are so caring, communicative and knowledgeable. There is an authenticity when you walk in the door, while your pets are in care and on departure that doesn't compare to any other place or team I've experienced over the years. Over so many years of trying to find a solution, this is the only time in or out of home I have had absolute peace of mind. My two can be at times, anxious, complex & hard work but the team have taken the time to learn their individual natures to make sure they have the absolute best days of their lives. The team work to achieve best possible outcomes for my guys and that shows when I collect them, finding happy, worked and loved dogs. Photos are courtesy of PRA Townsville sent to me during one of their stays."

"My baby has been to Pet Resorts Australia Townsville twice now and both times she has returned home extremely happy, healthy and clean. I could tell my baby had been well looked after. I supplied my dogs own prescription diet and they were very accommodating for no extra cost and I felt reassured they took her dietary needs seriously. Thank you for taking great care of my Sadie"

"My 5 month old mini dachshund has stayed with PRA Yabulu twice now. First time was for 2 weeks and second was for 4 days. Firstly, it was so easy to book online (just make sure you have your pet’s Vaccination records) & the receptionist on the phone was very helpful with my questions (first time dog mum) and the drop off process was super easy. All I had to do was bring Sammy and they looked after the rest. Pick up process was even easier and Sammy was in such a great mood for days. In fact, I think he loved his lil holiday which made my nerves ease. I chose a standard room which he was monitored and moved to cool air if it was a really hot day. Highly recommend this facility and the staff are super lovely and you can tell they love looking after our little ones. THANK YOU 😁"

"Hank and Choco stayed over Christmas for 2 weeks. Though when leaving they were anxious, when we picked them up they were happy and healthy - clearly comfortable with the team. Even when we had advised our dog was funny about men, the team had one of their male workers come in whilst we were there to meet him. They kept us updated throughout the stay to reassure us. Would reccommend - we will be back!"

"Our 14 yr old cat Zeus has been going to this pet boarding since it was Beaches. We have always found the staff attentive to our cat and always provide feedback on his stay. We are so grateful for their care and he is always healthy and happy when either arriving for a stay or being collected. Excellent effort by all!"
