"Being a very anxious dog mum I cannot praise Pet Resorts Terrigal enough. They are so patient with me which I love. They answer all my questions prior to boarding Marshall over and over Marshall loves going there They are exceptional with his care. Being a greyhound he is a sensitive soul and they know this and give him the care and cuddles he needs. The best thing was that he only lost minimal amount of weight which is testament to the care he received. If you need to board your precious dog this is the place. Also Marshall loves doggy day care which he goes to once a week. Give it a go. It’s so worth it"

"Left my 11 year old French Bulldog for nearly 3 weeks I was very nervous obviously ! I was updated on his progress and pics of him having a lot of fun he was transported from my vet in Sydney to terrigal when I picked him up he was so happy like I hadn’t even left him he looked amazing clean shiny coat no weight loss my whole experience prior to the stay through to the end was professional friendly I highly recommend Terrigal pet resort 🩷🩷🩷🩷"

Pet Resorts Australia Terrigal FAQs
We provide premium food, comfy bedding, and safe toys — so you don’t need to pack much! Please bring:
- • Your pet’s vaccination certificate
- • Any medications (in original vet packaging with clear instructions)
- • Your pet’s microchip number
If you prefer to supply your own food, please portion and label it clearly. Large beds, collars, and toys are best left at home, as we provide everything your pet will need during their coastal holiday!
For the health and safety of all our furry guests at the Terrigal Pet Resort we require:
- • Dogs: Must have a current C5 vaccination
- • Cats: Must have a current F3 vaccination
- To protect all pets in our care, vaccination certificates must:

- • Show the vaccine was given within the past 12 months and is still valid.
- • Be provided before or at the time of boarding.
- • Confirm the vaccine was administered at least 14 days prior to boarding to allow full immunity.
🐾 Puppies & Kittens Puppies and kittens must have completed their full vaccination course and be at least 2 weeks past their 3rd and final dose (generally around 18 weeks of age).

We’re approximately 95 km from Sydney Airport (around a 90-minute drive) and 100 km from Newcastle Airport (about 90 minutes by car). It’s the perfect balance of peaceful coastal surrounds with easy access from the city.
