"5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve used Port Melbourne Pet Resort a few times now and can’t speak highly enough of the service and facilities. Every time we pick up our Frenchie Burrito he’s happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. The team is friendly, professional, and genuinely loves animals. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in great hands while we’re away. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, and welcoming place for their pets!"

"We booked a double space for our giant breed dog, thinking he would be well looked after. Unfortunately, the opposite was true. Despite paying extra, he was never taken out to the play area where all the other dogs were. It was obvious from the start that they had no idea how to care for giant breeds. Our dog is the most gentle, doyle, cuddle-loving boy — yet all they saw was a “big dog” and treated him accordingly, manhandling him instead of showing him the kindness he deserves. To make matters worse, the lights were switched off at 6pm and he was left unattended all night. By the time we picked him up, he was scared, shaking, and had thrown up from the stress. The special treat we packed for him, which staff promised they would give, was also ignored. I even wrote to them afterwards about this experience and they didn’t bother to reply — a complete lack of accountability or care. This is absolutely not acceptable care for any animal, let alone one entrusted to them at premium rates. We will never bring any dog here again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone who truly loves their pets. Stay away."

"Ned had a wonderful stay @ Pet Resort who were recommended by close friends. He is already booked for future stays as the dog I dropped off was the one that I collected, unstressed & happy. This speaks volumes to the level of service & care that your pet receives when under their care. Highly recommend."

"I've checked in my dog for a long weekend Thursday-Sunday and was very disappointed with the service. My dog came back with diarrhoea & blood in his poo but on his "pet holiday card" it said everything went well, he ate well and everything was fine. When I called the resort to ask as I was concerned he first told me that nothing else was given to my dog other than royal canin then checked again and confirmed that he'd been given wet food on day 2 & 3 as per contract. If you write "ate his food well" and then have to give other food as he is not eating, I don't define that eating well and you should signal this to the pet owner. Furthemore my dog was very thristy when he came back home for an entire day and he had diarroha straight away so I find it difficult to believe that his poo was normal as indicated in his card. Definitely not going back, for the money I paid I would have expected quite some responsibility vs. what I got."

"Great communication and service. I had issues booking online after registration but was able to do it over the phone. I checked in half way through over the phone and got a report from their nanny. Very professional and even got a report on pick up. They were both clean and happy. I would definitely use this service again. Thank you!"
