What Our Customers Say
"I just picked up my little senior citizen from a 5 week stay at Welcome Boarding Kennels. I could not have asked for more. I chose them for the quality of their facilities and option of rooms available. I booked a tour where I could ask my million questions and see for myself how content and happy the fur- guests were. The staff were patient and understanding as I called to double and triple check everything before my trip. Everytime I emailed for an update while I was away I recieved a detailed one within 24 hours regarding her health and wellbeing. Each response was personalised and I really got the sense that they knew my baby. When I picked her up, I was greeted with an affectionate, knowing “aww no!” that made it very clear she’d been loved and cherished while I was gone. She came home happy, settled, and maybe even a little bit heavier! 'Welcome' will be my first choice for future stays."

"Archie stayed at Welcome Kennels for 3 weeks while we were overseas and during his stay he was a very happy boy playing with new friends and staff. We were kept up to date with informative & fun emails. The staff were very attentive as well with Archie's wellbeing notifying me of when he lost a wee bit of weight in his first week - which he needed to actually :) As far as 'constructive feedback' I did feel rather disappointed that I was having to pay an extra $5.50 per day for Archie to be fed the food which I supplied, all separately bagged for each day. I will definitely consider Welcome Kennels for any future stays Archie may require. Thank you to the lovely caring staff and all the very best for 2026."

"Our 14 Yr Old Cairn Terrier Albert just spent the last month at Welcome Kennels while we were away. We are very appreciative of the care and attention given to him as an aged dog. They commented on his weight fluctuation since last visit, and sent him home clean and happy with a report card stating he’d interacted well with the other dogs. Thankyou Welcome Kennels."

"Thank you Welcome kennels for taking such great care of our 9yr old greyhound! We board him here anytime we are away, and he's always excited to greet the team and follows them out without even so much as a glance back. He comes back home happy and clean (love the wash service before pick up!). We're always a bit nervous having other people look after a retired greyhound, but the team at Welcome seem very experienced and they will assess suitability of the dogs when buddying them up. As a result, our grey been able to safely bunk with and socialise with other dogs during his stays. Highly recommend!"

"Our dog have stayed at Welcome Kennels for almost 4 weeks. We were a bit stressed about it, because our puppy is quite attached to us and we did not know how would she react on a different environment. On top of that, she is not really social with other dogs as she tends to be intimidated. The communication with the staff throughout the stays and the photos with video I received made me feel comfortable that she is really in good hands. The staff really loved her and I am confident that the dog was very well looked after and was not stressed about the stay (I was probably more stressed!). We would definitely use Welcome Kennels next time. Before our dog's first stay, I have done extensive research of many facilities in Melbourne, and I can say that the high expectations and the professional services of this facility were on spot!"
